Buccaneer Promotions have been busy printing hundreds of bibs to promote girls football in Northwich. These bibs will be distributed between all primary schools in the area and will raise awareness of playing the sport within the female population of the town.

It was recently announced that Northwich is set to become the home of a state-of-the-art centre of excellence for women’s football, with a £70 million complex planned for the town.
The location of the stadium has not yet been announced but will house two FIFA standard Grassmaster pitches – one of which will be flanked by a stadium of up to 3,000 capacity.
Further developments include three 3G pitches, six grass pitches, a youth zone and luxury hotel and spa.
A press meeting was held at Moss Farm and included players from Everton women’s team.
There are also talks of a club from the top flight of the women’s game – WSL1 – to move their operation to the site.
